How do we choose our product range at Woodstone Pantry? At Woodstone Pantry we do not sell multiple brands of the same item, rather we choose the suppliers based on our personal ethics. Where possible, we select items which are grown locally, organically and do not use any additives or nasties. We aim to support suppliers and brands which are ethical in the way in which they grow and source their produce. We support locally produced to reduce the number of food miles products have travelled, aiming to help and preserve our planet.
Loving Earth is one of these brands. Many of their products contain ingredients grown and harvested in developing countries such as Peru, Indonesia and Mexico, where individuals and communities are often easily exploited. However, Loving Earth work with many indigenous communities around the globe which have been cultivating these foods for thousands of years to ensure trade is fair and just. Their central principals are Healthy, Sustainable and Fair.
For example, Loving Earth's wild harvested Gubinge powder. Gubinge is the Nyul Nyul language name for the Kimberley version of the Kakadu Plum. Wild harvested from the Dampier Peninsula just north of Broome, it’s the highest natural source of vitamin C on the planet. Loving Earth are supporting locals in this area to bring back to their communities the ancestral traditional ways of taking care of the land and the Gubinge trees, which is helping restore the amazing bush in this region. All profits from this product are sent to Nyul Nyul people who harvest it.
Thank you for supporting Woodstone Pantry- a local business providing an affordable, ethical and convenient experience allowing you to shop mindfully.
